When we are children, we believe a lot of what we are told, and we are shaped by the environment we live in.  There are many sources of input outside of ourselves, such as parents, teachers, television and the Internet.

Up to the age of seven, our beliefs are formed, and we start to experience what we believe to be true for us.

It isn’t until we question our authority figures that we start to wonder where these beliefs have come from and dig deeper into ourselves for answers.

We begin to tap into our own subconscious and our own guidance council on the other side and also listen to what others have to say. We then begin to ask more questions and find ways to reprogram our own belief system.

Once we do that, we can form new belief patterns that produce different outcomes and experiences for different results in our lives. When the new evidence shows up that supports our new belief system, we wonder how we could have held the beliefs we had before. We begin to see the pattern that took place and a new pattern we are creating.

Take a look at different aspects of your life from relationships, finance, education, the world around you; what are the beliefs you hold that affect these areas of your life?

For example, a belief that I had growing up and saw evidence to support my truth was that I had to work hard for money; nothing comes free. I was told this over and over by my parents, who worked very hard for all they had. I remember Mom holding down two jobs, and Dad constantly working hard to bring food to the table. We were fortunate to be able to do a lot as a family, but only, I thought, because my parents worked their butts off and that was the way it had to be.

I grew up with that strong belief, working two to three jobs at one time, always finding myself striving very hard.

In 2008, my husband and I met my real estate mentors, July Ono and Steve Cain, and took a workshop with T. Harv Eker called Millionaire Mind Intensive.

Yes, it was intensive, and it worked to change some very strong limiting beliefs – and new evidence started to appear. I highly recommend this program.

Watch yourself transform, and watch your outer experiences change as you take on your new belief system. We connect most readily to our subconscious to create real change when we go to bed and when we wake up. So, go to bed with happy positive thoughts, and ask the questions you want answers to, and let your subconscious mind go to work on the answers for you!
